Water Loss During Severe Rain Storm

This is a unique loss as the homeowner was hit with two losses on the same day. As the rain continued pouring excessively that evening, they were made aware by a neighbor that shingles were rapidly blowing off their roof. As they were trying to process the roof situation, their second floor toilet supply line broke, sending water gushing thru the floor into the downstairs kitchen and dining room. Our water mitigation team was called in, and they took care of getting the water removed and the structure dried out. Then it was time for the reconstruction to begin. Part of the ceiling had to be furred in so it would match the existing part of the ceiling. Drywall, plaster and several feet of crown molding had to be replaced as well. The homeowner said we did an "outstanding" job from start to finish. We were glad to have helped, and made it "Like it never even happened."
